This is mind blowing research that just shows how much power we have to change our physiology by lessening our toxic intake. No longer can we blame the environment, pollution, industry, traffic etc alone for the toxins in our bodies. This research clearly states that the products we buy for personal care and house cleaning can dramatically decrease our toxic intake.

Once your aware it becomes your choice!

At the last minute the plan changed and the drop off time was not until lunch which meant leaving the event early. The morning session was fantastic I noticed my mind slipping into debate could I let my partner take her, I didn’t want to miss the rest of the day, this was really great, I wanted to stay, I made a commitment, today of all days, I said I be there for her and I won’t let her down and I noticed myself slipping into a spiral of thoughts, heady debate and a churning feeling inside .

Then I remembered the process of ‘Living in the Question’ ….
When you live in the question and things aren’t going the way you intended you open up to new possibility for something unseen, something out of your awareness to present itself to you. It’s not that you are expecting an immediate answer but reminding yourself that everything is happening in divine order even though in that moment you cannot possibly imagine why!

To abate my increasingly incessant mind I switched my focus to a continual loop of ‘What’s right about this that I’m not seeing?’

Whilst we waited for her friend to call we went to lunch and all was revealed. She opened up, started talking about herself, her nervousness, her relationships and challenges. We got to talk about life and different ways of looking at things and new possibilities and in that moment I new I was exactly where I was meant to be, that being here right now was far more important than another workshop and all else dissipated.

There is one certainty in life and that is constant change. When we have an expectation of how life will be or how things will happen, something we have been looking forward to, and there is a sudden change it can be overwhelming, depending on the magnitude of the unexpected event. Our emotions rise up, we get stuck in the story, disappointed, why me, I never, the list of stories, emotions and mind chatter can intensify into a seemingly uncontrollable vortex.

However when we live in the question we stay open to a deeper understanding, new possibility, the opportunity of a higher purpose and perhaps and an outcome that we never could have imagined.

Compared to participants who did not get this intervention:

The impact of the intervention was most dramatic in adolescents who did not have a parent who was depressed at the time, with 12% of these teens developing depression vs. 40% of teens who did not go through the program.

The researchers estimated that the intervention prevented one episode of depression for every nine teens treated -- a risk reduction similar to that which has been reported for antidepressants.

Having a parent who was actively depressed at the start of the study significantly reduced the effectiveness of the intervention, lead researcher Judy Garber, PhD, tells WebMD.

“It may be that there is more conflict at home or that the parent is just too depressed to help them or it may be a marker of greater genetic vulnerability,” she says.

Duke University psychology professor John Curry, PhD, was a co-author of the 2007 study showing cognitive behavioral therapy combined with an antidepressant to be more effectiveness than either treatment given alone.

Curry tells WebMD that behavioral intervention programs are not widely available to depressed teens and teens at risk for depression.

“Cognitive behavioral therapy is still not taught in a lot of graduate programs and it is not easy to find therapists who do it,” he says.

Most depressed teens who are treated receive either antidepressants alone or antidepressants with conventional psychotherapy, and most at-risk teens receive no treatment at all, Curry says.

“In teens, a big part of the problem is that symptoms aren’t recognized for what they are. They are dismissed as the normal problems associated with growing up,” he says. “If we can identify kids who are at risk, that is a big part of the battle.”

The celebration of birth comes with 9 months of planning, organising, redecorating, celebrating, baby showers, we come together, we support. Natural birthing classes become the norm, we study our bodies, our breath, what we can expect. An awareness of space, ambiance and mood become a priority, music, candles, what makes us feel good, warm loving environments, long discussions about our fears and others experiences intertwine.

The entry into this world is one of celebration, it brings home our humanness, our vulnerability, our inadequacies, our relationships, our families or lack of and from the moment of conception our fear.

The fear of miscarriage, deformities, stretch marks, unnatural birthing, natural birthing, c section, no c section, drugs, no drugs. Our projections of how things ‘should’ be rule our hearts and minds as the books come out of closet and opinions exude freely from the check out chick to the mother in law.

From that day forth we live in fear of losing a child, our identity, being a good parent, having enough money, child molesters, the terrible twos, teenagers, death, food additives and school bullies.

Our world suddenly changes in ways we could never have imagined and sometimes we wonder if we would have signed up if we "REALLY NEW."

Our understanding of childhood and parenting, life and death, fear and pain have diminished into a treadmill of external priorities. Why are we here, what is this earthly experience, what’s the point of education, career, budgets, credit cards and being in this cycle of life and death?

As this new life evolves our child becomes our priority, we create a world for them and about them, imposing our beliefs, fears and values on them, to for fill our hopes, expectations and live our life through and as a part of them.

We create another external priority.

What if just for a moment we considered this role differently?

What If:
• This child chose you to play a certain role in their life, a role that helped in their evolution as an eternal being?
• This role that we agreed to play did not fit into societies ‘perfect parent’ guide book, should we carry guilt and self blame?
• Your parents where playing this role you agreed on, does your understanding of the world suddenly have different meaning?
• This child was here to help you as an individual to reconnect with yourself and help you evolve in your own evolutionary process?
• Your role as a parent was to reconnect your child with the innate wisdom & knowledge of life times that they already hold within?
• The role of your child was an opportunity to help you break through your own diminished states?
• We considered parenting to be something beyond what our society portrayed?
• A child’s death, illness, incapacity, behaviour was an agreement of souls to help you grow beyond yourself?
• Each of your children played out a different aspect of your personality?

What :
• Would you be here to teach each of them uniquely as individuals?
• Would that role be teaching you?
• What would the experience you chose to grow beyond be?
• Role does forgiveness play or is it then made redundant?
• Would you do differently?

How would your relationships change if all the above where true?

Fear, right and wrong would diminish as every challenge became an opportunity to build a stronger relationship with your child, to connect them ever more deeply with themselves and support them in their chosen evolution as a being.

Judgement, guilt and blame of self and other would be replaced with curiosity, presence and listening, strength and focus as your energy turned from being self effacing to self actualising.

You would be more focused on both the child and yourself, for filling your potentials as individuals rather than fitting into societies pre existing model of right, wrong, success and failure.

When we start to understand ourselves and the world differently it does not mean that challenge, hurt and pain do not exist. It does mean that we become responsive to our children rather than reactive. We see opportunity instead of challenge, we know there are equal benefits and draw backs in every moment, we are driven by acceptance of what is rather than fear of what could be and every moment would become an opportunity to

And what if all of this had to be experienced because it could never be conceived by the mind?

This series of video interviews is one of the best we have on
maxAwarenss to date. Dr Andreas Demuth in depth experience is only
exceeded by his understanding of the multi-dimensional purpose of
cancer, the nature of disease and the innate healing power of the human
soul.

I can’t imagine anyone who would not benefit from Dr Demuths understanding healthy or sick, patient or doctor.

Avoid mammograms and consider thermography instead. IThis may sound a little radical but do some research on mammograms vs. thermograms. Thermography can detect abnormalities at the cellular level which could be 10 years before you might otherwise notice them and there is no harm done to sensitive breast tissue.

Mammogram x-rays increase your risk of cancer. A typical mammogram of both breasts will expose you to 2,720 RADs (Radiation Absorbed Dose) that's 8 pictures at 340 RADS each. And they encourage us to get a mammogram every year. The non-direct natural radiation that we as humans absorb every year is only 300 RADs. There are times when x-rays are necessary, but if there is a safer and effective alternative to routine yearly mammograms, why not check it out?
there is a new medicine advancing which shows a much greater understanding of
the complexity of the human trinity. Energies Quantum physics, spirituality and
so on are all interwoven and lead to a new way of healing.

One of them is
the C.M.R. a method which has been used very successfully in many holistic
cancer clinics. maxAwareness had the opportunity to talk with the inventor and
producer of C.M.R - Dr. Bodo Koehler.

A dynamic
speaker, Dr. Koehler is one of the world’s leading experts on
bio-energetic medicine with a profound knowledge about ancient healing methods
and modern science. He has authored six books on this topic, co-authored seven
more with over 100 publications.

The precision of
German biological medicine, can be fully understood only when we recognize the
underlying importance of spirit. Emphasizing the extraordinary power of the body
when it is used as a tool to heal itself. It also reveals the extraordinary
power of mind and intention when it is rightfully aligned with spirit, allowing
us to create change by merging our own will with the greater consciousness of
the universe.

Complete healing
can be accomplished only when all aspects of the human being are being
addressed: spirit, mind, and body. Dr. Koehler supports his therapeutic method
for resonating with spirit with his vast knowledge of medical science, using
data from his years of work in conventional medicine as well as landmark
research studies in the field of biophysics, information transmission and
cell-metabolism. What emerges is a life-changing view of our amazing potential
for fulfillment, healing and deep resonance with every life system in the
universe.

What do we want
in medicine? A new thinking for a new medicine is needed: to continuously find a
Life supporting mechanism—not a Life destroying mechanism—to sustain Life
processes.

Dr. Koehler has
an in-depth knowledge into the microscopic world of cellular metabolism where
new discoveries and research are revolutionizing the way we understand the
healing process.

You can see Dr Koehler explain C.M.R. along with many other world leading specialists as a member on www.maxAwareness.com Check out the free videos on maxAwareness with leading doctors from around the world talking about Holistic Cancer Treatment.
What’s the best thing to do when diagnosed with cancer, STOP!! Take a breath.

Besides working out what treatment protocol your going to use or
which pathway you going to follow, hence we know there are millions of
things to choose from on google.

The real question is ‘Where am I out of alignment with my life?’ The
cancer the tumor is not just a growth in a particular organ, its an
indicator that within the 50 trillion cells of your body, within the
neuro transmitters, your energetic body, your physical body, your mind,
your emotions something is not serving you. Whether you’re not
following your passion, or in the relationship that is right for you or
ultimately in the ultimate relationship with yourself, something is not
working.

So the journey becomes not one of an external exploration, yes, the
treatment process whether that be chemo therapy, radiation, the diet,
all of those things become external things that support the physical
body to come back into alignment.

But the ultimate question really is connecting with your internal
environment connecting with yourself, creating a deeper relationship
with yourself, being more yourself.

These are the questions to ask yourself, Where is my passion in
life? Why is my body not in alignment? What do I want to live for? When
you start to ask these deeper questions I assure you the answers will
come to you through the journey forward. It is these deeper insights
into the incongruence in your thoughts, emotions and your external
world that lead to the source of the physical imbalance in your body,
the cancer.

As you create congruence in all aspects of yourself and your life
and support this through healthy nutrition and other treatments your
body comes back into a state of ease rather than a body that is ill at
ease, in dis-ease state.

Those that I have worked with who have embraced being diagnosed with
cancer as it as a catalyst for change, often see it as a great gift, an
opportunity to expand beyond their limitations.

Along with Dr Douwes from St Georg Clinic in Germany and Marcus Freudenman, Michelle shares her understanding after working with 1000's of people with cancer. Watch the video here!!

FROM NOLA

We all have an innate ability to create and have a strong desire to connect with the world through our expression. And the way we express ourselves is the way we create. Whether this takes the form of words, sound, visual or by our deeds.

They are all acts of creation.

But do we act to create or do we re-act?

Art has the power to transform us. It allows us to travel an inward journey that opens doorways to higher human consciousness. Through art, we get to know ourselves deeply and our connections with the world grows.

Alan Alda wrote “The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.”

The act of creativity allows you to access presence. You find yourself in a space of no clocks – time may pass but you are not aware of it. You are in the “zone’. In the zone is where your heart beats peacefully. Stress has disappeared. Your body is healing. You are not reacting in this place; you are simply experiencing your being.

This is the beginning of your awakening creativity. The fun of creative doing is then expressed. In your drawings, in your paintings in your writings in your journaling; the list is endless.

And once awakened, you will experience other places of knowing – beyond the mind and more than the mind could ever offer you.

Everyone is creative. It may feel like it’s a gift that only some have. It is a gift and we all have it – for some it’s just waiting to be ignited and others may just need to throw another log on the fire.

Every now and then you meet someone who chooses to step out of what we perceive to be the 'normal' realms of business, truly follow their hearts and say what if 'We actually put the universal principles many of us so freely banter around, into ACTION.'

One such person is founder of 'Wake Up Sydney' Jono Fisher ... His intention for 'Sydney to be the most conscious city in the world.'

Sydney is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, its not just about the beautiful harbour, beaches and the Opera House, Sydney has something special a unique energy that is undefinable by words. Can you imagine if all the people in Sydney who are choosing to live a more purposeful, conscious life held this intention. If we all join our collective energies with the intention of Sydney being the most conscious city in the world.

Nothing less than inspiring!!

We can each participate by choosing to raise our own consciousness through meditation, mindfulness, being present and living a life of conscious choice, then the energy of the city will naturally rise. We can further participate by not buying into the 'drama' that happens through politics, on our streets, in our community and family and instead when we hear of these things choose to send compassion, love, peace, whatever intuitively transforms a situation from a contracted to a more expansive state. You can choose not to participate in gossip, judgement and blame both of other people and yourself and join Wake Up Sydney's 'Kindness Revolution' below.

If we each JOIN Jono in holding this intention for 'Sydney to be the most conscious city in the world' we know magic can happen!!

Its a joy to live in Sydney now, can you imagine what it will be like in the future - again undefinable by words.

Tumeric is on the top of my list for "Health Insurance in the Pantry" . Long consider to be one of nature’s most potent anti-inflammatories and antioxidants. Due to so many people asking for my favourite recipe containing Tumeric I have posted my cooking video, yes, you heard it here first, my first cooking video on wwww.maxAwareness.com. See the details below.

Tumeric may help with a variety of conditions related to inflammation and antioxidant damage, including:

Cataracts

Arthritis

Cancer

Heart Disease

Obesity

High Blood Pressure

Cholesterol

Digestive Disorders

Promote Wound Healing

Strengthen the Immune System

Alzheimer’s

Weight Loss

and PROMOTES WELLNESS

Tumeric is a natural antioxidant, and thus protects the body from oxidative damage. Laboratory studies have found that tumeric inhibits the development of cataracts, breast cancer, colon cancer, and lymphoma. In one study, smokers that took just 1 teaspoon of tumeric a day for 30 days had lower levels of cancer-causing mutagens. In another study, just 500 milligrams of curcumin each day significantly reduced participants’ cholesterol levels in as little as 10 days.

Some studies indicate that tumeric’s ability to lower cholesterol may provide the same heart-protective benefits as its close relative ginger, including blood clot prevention and reduced blood pressure.

Tumeric helps detoxify the body, and protects the liver from the damaging effects of alcohol, toxic chemicals, and even some pharmaceutical drugs.

Tumeric stimulates the production of bile, which is needed to digest fat. Tumeric also guards the stomach by killing salmonella bacteria and protozoa that can cause diarrhea.

Tumeric is available in the familiar powder form used in cooking, as well as commercial capsules and tinctures. The usual dosage is 445 milligrams in capsules or 1 teaspoon of extract three times a day, or 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder in warm milk as a digestive aid. Curcumin supplements are also available, and are more effective for treatment of arthritis.

Dr Pankaj Naram has shared his 'Mung Soup' recipe containing TURMERIC all over the world, the depth of herbs and spices warms the heart and feeds the mind, body and soul. His soup has become a staple for many, from great saints to those choosing to maximise their wellness.
