This is a fantastic campaign by the Nike Foundation. The stats on youth depression, suicide, drug abuse and alcoholism suggest we don't always need to look as far as an underdeveloped country to find "A Girl" to invest in.
I'm sure we all know a girl who just needs someone to believe in her; a girl living on the streets, a girl who's lost her self esteem, a girl who feels unloved, a girl who feels alone, a girl who feels abandoned, a girl who's been abused, a girl who's lost her way....
Sometimes all's it takes is for one person to open the door, to listen and offer new possibility, without judgement or blame. Just one person to know she can have a better future, she is worthy, she is beautiful, she is lovable, she is capable ...
Just one person to hold hope when she's lost all hope for herself!
